Postpartum/Mom & Me Yoga with a Lactation Educator
Who can join:
- I recommend waiting until 6 weeks or 40 days post delivery before practicing yoga. Mamas should confirm with their care provider that they are a good fit for postnatal yoga classes and get their recommendation about when to join. - Babies 6 weeks to pre-walkers are welcome, as long as they are in good health. - Itching to get out of the house? If you have no complications after delivery and baby is healthy, you are welcome to join us and sit during class (no charge). - Adoptive mamas are welcome! - No prior yoga experience is required. Each class moves slowly and helps mama become acquainted with her body. |
Congratulations on your new addition(s)! Moms are welcome to join this special class that focuses on adjusting to the post-pregnancy body and connecting with baby.
What to expect:
- A great opportunity to connect with other mamas, share tips, and spend time with your little one.
- Breastfeeding and diaper changing are welcome at any time.
- After class you are welcome to stay and breastfeed and ask questions about breastfeeding.
What to bring:
- A yoga mat and blanket or beach towel (mats provided at Enso and available to rent at cambio.)
- A toy or two or snacks for crawlers.
- A wrap or sling if you prefer to wear baby during some poses.
- Water and a snack for yourself.
