Postpartum/Mom & Me Yoga with a Lactation Educator

Picture
Who can join:
- I recommend waiting until 6 weeks or 40 days post delivery before practicing yoga. Mamas should confirm with their care provider that they are a good fit for postnatal yoga classes and get their recommendation about when to join.
- Babies 6 weeks to pre-walkers are welcome, as long as they are in good health.
- Itching to get out of the house? If you have no complications after delivery and baby is healthy, you are welcome to join us and sit during class (no charge).
- Adoptive mamas are welcome!
- No prior yoga experience is required. Each class moves slowly and helps mama become acquainted with her body.
Congratulations on your new addition(s)! Moms are welcome to join this special class that focuses on adjusting to the post-pregnancy body and connecting with baby.

What to expect:

- A great opportunity to connect with other mamas, share tips, and spend time with your little one.
- Breastfeeding and diaper changing are welcome at any time.
- After class you are welcome to stay and breastfeed and ask questions about breastfeeding.

What to bring:
- A yoga mat and blanket or beach towel (mats provided at Enso and available to rent at cambio.)
- A toy or two or snacks for crawlers.
- A wrap or sling if you prefer to wear baby during some poses.
- Water and a snack for yourself.

I am a Lactation Educator (LE) and offer breastfeeding support during and after yoga. Bring your questions for me and the other moms and feel confident that I will give you a non-judgmental, research-based answer or find someone who can.
