An explanation of my credentials and training
YOGA
E-RYT 500: Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance at the 500 hour level. I've graduated from an advanced yoga teacher training, a higher level training than most yoga teachers attend. My training is in traditional hatha yoga as taught by the Sivananda tradition. In that tradition, this designation is called Yoga Acharya, which means, "Master of Yoga." The "E" indicates that I have taught for several thousand hours, 500 of which have been after receiving my RYT 500. RPYT: Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance. This credential indicates that I have attended an 85 hour specialized prenatal yoga teacher training with a school that meets the NEW guidelines for RPYT and successfully graduated from their program. I chose to attend a Postpartum/Mom & Me training to complete my additional study hours for this course. |
